- Better security – You may have heard that WordPress sites are particularly vulnerable to attacks just because it’s very popular, open-source software. To minimize security vulnerabilities, we now insist that all ongoing service clients receive premium managed WordPress hosting, including automatic security checks and malware removal, a built-in SSL certificate, and regular plugin audits and upgrades.
- Speed & reliability – You don’t want people sitting around waiting for your website to load. Our new hosting services include custom caching solutions and an optimized WordPress stack for best performance. We’ve also added your site to Cloudflare, a content delivery network (CDN) that distributes content across the globe to ensure faster page load times.
- Research & reporting – We are always monitoring the number of visits your website receives every day, and we’re happy to share that information! We’re also constantly researching website software solutions and thinking of ways to improve your site.
- Online payments – Finally, PointPolish is now accepting online payments, so you don’t have to worry about writing a check every month. The new pricing structure helps us to absorb the added costs of accepting payments via credit card or bank transfer.
- Set hourly rate for add-on services – No surprises! If you go over the hours included in your ongoing service plan, we will bill for any additional services at the set hourly rate of $50/hour.
- Option to upgrade or downgrade from month to month – Interested in sending a newsletter or need help managing event registrations? You can upgrade to the Professional Plan to take advantage of our more advanced services for one month only, and then switch back to a lower service level during slower periods.
- No contracts – You can suspend or terminate your ongoing service plan at any time – it would just require switching from our managed hosting services to an individual hosting plan, and we are happy to help with that. :)
